LAUREN MANDEL is an Emmy Award–winning showrunner behind the next generation of culture-defining live, comedy, and variety entertainment.
She’s known for producing television, live events, and digital content with the industry’s most sought after talent, including Sabrina Carpenter, Bowen Yang, Julia Fox, Keke Palmer, Amelia Dimoldenberg, Law Roach and Julio Torres.
In 2026, Lauren partnered with Michael Davies (Embassy Row/Sony) to launch Hulu’s GET REAL, a weekly talk show hosted by Amanda Hirsch (@notskinnynotfat).
She started her career in the NBCU PAGE PROGRAM and spent four seasons at SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE before going on to produce notable projects such as A NONSENSE CHRISTMAS WITH SABRINA CARPENTER (Netflix/OBB), iHEART RADIO JINGLE BALL (ABC/Hulu), PEOPLE’S CHOICE AWARDS (NBC/Den of Thieves), MTV VIDEO MUSIC AWARDS (CBS), and the LAS CULTURISTAS CULTURE AWARDS (Bravo/Peacock) for which she is part of the key creative team and helped scale the show from a 2022 Lincoln Center debut to an internationally televised comedy special.
In 2025, she returned to SNL for SNL50: THE HOMECOMING CONCERT and the show’s official SNL50 RED CARPET LIVESTREAM HOSTED BY AMELIA DIMOLDENBERG.
Lauren has developed and showrun multiple projects for NBCUniversal, including the Emmy-winning 2024 Paris Summer Olympic’s WATCH WITH ALEX COOPER (Peacock/Embassy Row), Joyelle Nicole Johnson’s Critics’ Choice–nominated comedy special LOVE JOY (Peacock/Jimmy Fallon), and NIGHT LATE an NBC-ordered late-night format which Lauren co-created and adapted from a live stage show at the Upright Citizens Brigade at age 25.

Disco Nap productions include the LAS CULTURISTAS CULTURE AWARDS, FAB FIVE LIVE, a five-city tour with the cast of Netflix's Queer Eye; MY FAVORITE LYRICS, a music-comedy podcast hosted by SNL cast member Devon Walker; THE CURSED AMULET Julio Torres’ not-to-be-missed Halloween party; DAD: a standup comedy show hosted by SNL’s Alex English, Devon Walker and Gary Richardson, WORSE THAN YOU (Mo Fry Pasic/Sudi Green) a play that ran at the 2024 Edinburgh Fringe Festival, CAT COHEN’S CABERNET CABARET, and ABOUT TO BUST, a comedy festival that debuted Summer 2026 in partnership with the comedian HOLMES.
